Name: James Walker
About Author: I am an American Expat living in the Spanish speaking world of Ciudad Panama. I do my shopping in Calidonia to practice saying "usted es muy amable" to sales persons and buenos dias, buenas tardes, buenas noches to everyone upon entering or leaving any enclosed space such as taxis, offices, etc.
I love the weather. Rain or not my old football injuries from before teams platooned their offenses and defenses do not rise up to bother me here. For football fans that gives you a lower limit on my age. I am also developing an appreciation for futbol which provided me with my first Spanish word, "gol."
Mostly I enjoy writing about the world of Panama and walking trips down Via Espania into Calidonia to chat with the street vendors and buy my verduras.
